You can encounter this problem with a network install of Prism 5.01. This problem is fixed in 5.01, so copying will work even if you have turned UAC off. It will not be possible to copy Prism graphs or layouts to the clipboard or to use the Send-to-Word or Send-to-PowerPoint buttons. If UAC is turned off, Prism will run fine, with one exception. To check this, go to the Control Panel, and then to User Accounts and Family Safety, and then turn on UAC in the User accounts section. User Access Control (UAC) should be turned on to use Prism 5.00.
